Fairfield Cemetery Rules

1.   Cemetery closes at dusk.

2.   Absolutely NO ALCOHOL or DRUGS on cemetery property.

3.   ALL flowers and decorations, including Christmas decorations, must be removed from graves and around tooting base by March 15 of each year ahead of the mowing season,

4.   Flowers or flags for holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day will be removed after two weeks by cemetery personnel.

5.   NO flowers are allowed on the ground (silk or real) from March 15th to November 1st except for special days (see 4 above).

6.   No flowers, trees, or shrubs may be planted.

7.   NO planters, hanging baskets, or hanging solar lights are allowed.

8.   Old unsightly flowers or other inappropriate items on or around headstones or graves will be removed by cemetery personnel.

9.   No solar lights permitted around base footing headstone sits on.

10. After a person is buried, a headstone (no foot-stone) must be placed at the head of the casket or urn vault in a timely manner. This headstone MUST be placed on a concrete slab footing made by Darrell Brown. The sexton must be notified as to size, type, shape, etc. before headstone is installed.
